We had a good trip home, visited our favorite Burmese friends, and are unpacked and readying ourselves to head back to work tomorrow!

Honeymoon Wine Tour

WOW! This is our first time @ a bed and breakfast and we are hooked. The house is enchanting and the room feels like home. The breakfasts were delicious each morning. Today is our last day at the Abner Adams House. This weekend has been one of the best getaways we have been on in a very long time. Bob and Lynda are amazing hosts. They are so friendly and great to talk with. We went on a Wine Tour yesterday and had the time of our lives! We will be coming back to the Abner Adams House in the future and we will be telling everyone we know that they have to come. It's bitter sweet to leave since we had so much fun. We had a wonderful time. Being new to the area, Bob and Lynda provided us with a wealth of information. The Brown Hound Bistro was the best recommendation, very quaint, fresh and delicious. Escape weekend of tranquil comfort

Our get away weekend of romance was beyond our expectations. An elegantly restored Historic house it a quaint village. The quietest stay you could ask for on Main St. Breakfast so wonderful, it will be difficult to duplicate upon returning home. The bed was so comfortable only the thought of breakfast can arouse you. The rooms were superb, especially relaxing in the 'Champaign Hot Air Bubble Tub'. The lawns, gardens, and wooded nature trails forced us to debate whether to remain at the B & B to enjoy its surroundings or to leave, as originally planned, visit some of the many Finger Lakes wineries in the area. We managed both, walking the trails and sitting on the benches in the woods enjoying our favorite wine purchases.

This is the first of many 'get away' weekends at the Abner Adams House.

Super people, beautiful place, quiet and romantic, in a historical village

What a wonderful Town! We walked through the village, stopped in at the Bakery and had coffee and huge scones!
Everyone is so friendly and it's so close to everything.
The house is so historic and the breakfast was wonderful.
I was really glad to see the modern bathroom and a fireplace in our room.
We visited the East Bloomfield Historical Society; what a wonderful museum worth the time. Next door was a Wireless Museum that had an amazing, international collection of radio/tv history.

They are having History Days August 8-10th and dedicating the 140 year old Civil War Monument. Mr and Mrs Lincoln will be there and it's a whole weekend of fun, we're coming back!
